hey guys

i dont know if this has been posted before but here goes:

I think i should get a new monitor...one that is good for gaming and is the required size to get full potensial out of the 7900 gtx.

is LCD CRT PLASMA wich one is best choice and what size...???????

get a really decent 17" LCD. an Acer or a BenQ with at least a 4ms response time. if you REALLY have cash to blow get an NEC 2ms 19" at around R6000

There seem to be a few affordable 19" lcd's floating around, for around R2000, or a bit more, ..and if you can afford a 7900gtx, then that shouldn't be too much of a stretch!? yeah, at least 8ms and under..

i knew a guy that spent about 30K on his monitor (i told him he isn't my friend anymore.. i could've gotten a whole new system for half that cash)

What kind of monitor do you get for 30k??? Does it serve coffee?

Get a 7900GT for around R2500 and get a 20"WS or any decent LCD. When the 7900GT gets slow, then just get another. Will end up cheaper in the long run....
