Does anyone know where I can get A0+ print made of a mosaic image, mounted on perspex or glass?
I'm unsure of size at the moment, at A0 the tiles are 2.5cm each.
3cm photo's will require a print length of 1426.8mm
and
4cm photo's will require a print length of 1902.4mm
I have no idea what print size would give enough detail to see the tiles.
I'd like it mounted on something like this:
I've tried Studio22, they simply responded saying they can't do the perspex mount, and the price of an A0 print - so they're obviously not interested in helping.
Also not keen on Orms - they charged me ~R1750 for three A2 prints, after telling me the prints are R390 each - but not telling me they'd charge ~R190 to scan each item. They also didn't follow the instructions the first time, and had to do the prints twice, resulting in further delay. (I suspect this might be where the sudden scanning charge came from)
Orms also ignored multiple requests for a price on a diasec print, said the receptionist sent the quote, when I said I didn't receive it - and asked them to send it again, no response (twice - besides the automatic "received" response)
