Most liked software (paid).

Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe Photoshop
Vegas Pro or Vegas Movie Studio
Loop Cloud
Albeton

I value these the most at the moment, but I can add many more.

I must say vscode is stealing a lot of their thunder lately. A lot of our guys were using Clion for a while (I think we have one holdout there) and almost everyone is now on vscode. Same with the web guys (WebStorm), same with Python (PyCharm). Was never a fan of Clion myself, always felt slow to me.
I like VS Code as well, use it often too (do all my smaller stuff in VS Code, especially merge conflicts).
That said, for e.g. C#/Java/Scala/Go, VS Code is not even close imho. For Vue, there's a lot of extra features that I prefer in Webstorm, but the difference isn't that big.

Jetbrains suite. :p
Another vote for them, also have full suite.
DataGrip is used on daily basis, PyCharm here and there.
CLion is hit and miss, it is overly complicated to set it up with your own make files. Also bit slow with large number of c++ files.

Still happy to pay license every year.

Yep, they definitely have some of those markets well covered, but some of the ones I mentioned aren't really such great options any more imo. Obviously this is very subjective but just making these observations based off what I'm seeing from C++ and JS devs in our organisation.
