Has anybody experienced any DATA problems recently with MTN and international roaming? I had a colleague who recently visited Spain and was on international roaming but had no access to data in Spain. I was recently in Mauritius and was on international roaming with MTN and was told by the call center that data was available but in Mauritius I discovered that I could not get data. I checked the MTN website and according to the website there should be roaming in Mauritius with Cellplus and EMTEL.
I actually went to a EMTEL office and a Cellplus office and they told me that there was no data available for MTN customers. My colleague who visted Spain was told the same thing by MTN with regards to roaming in Spain. I have just checked out MTN’s website and on according to the website Telefonica Moviles supports data.
