Yeah, MTN = R399 for 1GB and maybe (depending who you speak to) a second GB free, Vodacom = R289 for 1GB or R389 for 2GB.
A nice thing about the Vodacom option is that when deplete your bundle you can just buy another, none of this multiple SIM swapping rubbish.
You mean you can't just buy another one with MTN? That sucks... hopefully it changes soon.
There is only R10 difference between getting 2GB from Vodacom and 2GB (currently) from MTN... and after being a Vodacom subscriber for about 10 years, I've had better service from MTN in two weeks, obviously only after getting past the call center (808), which I think is pointless... they don't seem to be authorised to do anything.
Is your data lasting looooooooonger than you thought? You mean you can't just buy another one with MTN? That sucks... hopefully it changes soon.

I think he meant on MTN
Hello,
I wonder why these cellular companies don't provide us with off peak data charges? I mean.. who is actually using the country's internet at night except for telkoms employees who're downloading warez.
I'll 2nd that. MTN are faster and more reliable. Check the signal first and smile. They also have a 'bottomless cup' surprise where you buy a data bundle and it doesn't end for the whole of that evening. I can't predict when this happens, but it's working at the moment.
