MTN WAP over EDGE

Perhaps a question to MTNbb...

I was playing around with WAP on my cell, browsing is very slow and accessing an internet site over the proxy is slow as hell.

Also set up a website to upload images from my cell (Nokia 6230 v5.24 software). This works fine over VodaCom but crashes the phone on MTN.

Tried creating a new profile that excluded the MTN proxy and violla, browsing WAP is suddenly very fast and I can upload images from the phone to my website again.

Are there problems with the cache/proxy causing slow download speeds / phone crashing?

The options I used were.

AP : myMTN
username : mtnwap
no password
left the proxy settings blank
bearer : GPRS

Have you got a testing site where we can test that feature of yours? I'd love to see it in action and test it. Especially with other phone models.

Personally I'm stying to setup a SyncML server. Though currently it's not working for some obscure reason.

I think I limited it to like 100KB/pic. I leave it up for a week or so unless it get's abused.
