MTNVPN, how long does it take to activate?

Hi there.

I called MTNSP to activate the mtnvpn APN, I was told to wait 2 hours and it would be activated.
It is now 8 hours later and I still can't use that APN, mymtn works fine.

Also, I am now not able to access any webpages by browsing the web on my N95 anymore, using mymtn or mtnvpn APN, I get an 'Access Denied' message.

Any ideas of whats going on?

Nevermind, it appears to have been activated.

Activations take anything between 2-24 Hours if actioned by the correct department.

Hi sorry , to hijack this thread . Are there any costs involved in calling MTN to get a public APN ? I've been searching the forum a bit , and I've only managed to find 2 reasonable posts on the MTN APN's availability.

For contract customers like me, it is free.

Public APN's internet and myMTN are free to contract and prepaid subs. mtnvpn is only available to contract subs
