Mxit on a Samsung D820. Help!

Problem - whenever typing a mxit message on a Samsung D820, you 1st have to change to predictive text, every time!

I have googled and found some people talking of the same problem, but no solutions...

Any ideas?

I always used to like Samsung phones...Is there a way of upgrading the Samsung software or flashing it or something?
