its worth having a look at all the options, how much is the z5450's? its an oldish model hey, maybe logitech is working on some new stuff... with tweeters... =)

The z5450's are around R2500, But I'm waiting for the Z cinema's rather...

Last year for my 21st, my parents bought me the Sony 6.2 channel surround system that was at Makro (and still is from time to time).

Not the greatest home theatre obviously, but for it's price it was a bargain. I mainly used it as a stereo/radio system for a while, but the first time I played DD5.1 and DTS tracks through the thing, I was stunned. I was hooked to surround sound on the spot.

When my pc is finished in the next month, it will be hooked up to that system. Just need to find a 3.5mm jack to 3 way rca cable. My X-Fi Fatal1ty needs those kinds of cables to enable surround sound for everything besides movies, as the card can't do Dolby Digital Live

Yeah the speakers look great. I have heard a lot of good reports on these ones.
