Hey if you cant find another media centre app for PC thats better than MCE and uses the MCE remote, I'm all ears :) I've tried both Cyberlink & Nero's sorry excuses and niether of them come close to the MS version.

nero..ughhh :) the only thing nero is good for is burning cd's...

tho id stick with MCE too..

Without a doubt. Forget the fact that what you get is worth almost 3 times what you pay for it. The actual experience of using it is fantastic, all the downloadable content, the ease of communication and community is just awesome.

The thing is that it's not about "I can't twitch as fast with a controller", but is it as much fun with a controller, and it definitely is. It's also painless and seemless and not a driver install or punkbuster in sight ;)

And to the MS haters, ce la vie. No-one handed MS a monopoly on a platter, they got there by delivering what people wanted. They've pulled some stunts, but none worse than Nintendo, Sony or IBM. Frankly they're all businesses in it for the money.

Vista looks fun, but unnecessary, I'll wait till I upgrade my PC, which may be quite a while ;) Home Server, however is a different ballgame altogether.

Sure Pinnacle Systems Showcenter 200.

Makes XBox and MCE look like a babies toy and it supports XVid and DivX natively.
