N80 Not Recognising Contacts

This is my second attempt at getting help on my weird phone (Thanks anyway Landy for trying).

My N80 doesn't recognise/register phone numbers in my contacts list (regardless of whether its a SIM contact, or Phone Book contact). A call will come through with the number only, even though the number is saved in the contacts list. Have tried a software upgrade - didnt work. I've tried changing formats +2782... and 082... but no luck!

I'm probably taking a long shot here but are you sure there aren't any duplicate numbers on the fone/simcard or if the numbers are present both on the simcard and the fone??
