Need for Speed: Most Wanted

i would say a steering wheel might be good for GT or GTR kinda car simulators... NFSU is just too violent for such a steering wheel... analog joypad control is way better IMO...

yeah i have played NFSU with a wheel, it feels good but i felt sorry for the wheel after a few tight manouvers and corners since its an arcade game.

Unlike GTR where your driving has to be soft and calculated, NFSU degrades into smashing, crashing tactics on the racetrack... so an analog control on a gamepad is more suited for such arcade titles... thats what i meant.

My DFP (and a Saitek R440 before that) had no probs with smashing & crashing :D The R440 was more suited to it, but I just limited the "lock to lock" turn of the DFP to about 200 degrees to get that arcade feel.

thats cool... all my driving games are on consoles though... PC is more for FPS and RPG gaming... though thus far the best fun racer is Project Gotham Racing 2 and the best fun crasher is the Burnout series.. awesome!

lol... thats what i use it mostly anyhow... sports, racing, adventure and fighting games are more suited for consoles, they do work on the PC but not as they do on a console... and i did use the wheel on the PS2 as a friend had it... :p

i played NFSU2 on pc using Logitech MOMO racing. I pull the crap out that wheel. i dont care. has a 2 year warrantee. once i got the settings and feedback 100%, made NFSU2 10X more appealing...

I am contemplating getting a wheel but I first need to get some more RAM and a new graphics card for my pc :/
