I'm moving into a new house and unfrotunately I'm in a position that Telkom won't be able to supply me with adsl for anything between 40 days and 9 months(guessing the techies must all be in the final stages of labour or planning on getting pregnant)

Can anyone off advice on an alternative form of connectivity that allows for playing WoW as well?

ISDN is probably your best bet. None of the wireless services really handle it well, except I've heard reports that Wireless Online manages (http://www.wo.co.za) if you're in the Cape Town area.

ISDN has excellent international latencies (moreso than ADSL). I normally get latencies around 500ms (Euro servers), except when the servers are particularly busy.

Guessing I should have made my post a bit clearer. Telkom can't even install a phone line for 40 days to 9 months, even though the people across the streets pole is less than 50 meters from me.

I'd go with 3G if it's available in your area till you get Telskum to install ADSL for you.

Yeah I've been playing it over 3G, latency sotimes climbs high, but it is still pretty playable.
