New actor to play Superman

Watched it last night. It was mindless entertainment and enjoyable. Dog was cute. Was not sure why he all of a sudden had a dog so was a bit confused....but enjoyed the dog anyway.
 
A Green lantern movie is required. This Superman is a wimp.
 
Was actually surprised by the reboot. It broke from the boringness of every previous Superman movie, and was pretty entertaining...
 
I rewatched 'Man of Steel' and 'Superman Returns', though neither was perfect they both felt like better Superman movies to me than Superman 2025 (I rewatched this too, last).

Its a pity Brandon Routh didn't get to do a sequel as I thought he was a pretty decent Superman and he had the Christopher Reeve demeanor down pat, but I can see how the plot-line with his son and all might have become tricky to navigate in a sequel.

Superman 2025 was an entertaining movie with the Justice Gang and all, it just didn't hit me in the feels like its predecessors did. The plot could have been better, quite nonsensical at times. It was hyped up so much perhaps it was bound to dissappoint.
