New Intel Celerons (Conroe-L) out

The new Celeron D 400 (the old ones are 300 series) of chips are available in SA. They are based on the Core 2 architecture should pretty much outperform the older Celeron Ds in all areas.

Specs:
1.6 and 1.8GHz single core, 800MHz FSB, 512KB cache, 35W TDP (old Celeron D is 65W)

The 420 (1.6GHz) should retail for around R450, while the 430 (1.8GHz) should be just below R600. The latter really doesn't make sense except if you really dont have the extra R200 to spend on the Core2 Duo E2140 dual core 1.6GHz processor...

these cpu's are really good for a office pc and for gaming as well, if your on a budget these are awesome

can overclock to 3ghz

for the price these cpu's are freakin insane
