NEW iPod Touch 8GB R3,498.98
NEW iPod Touch 16GB R4,899.00

Eisshh...!

Have2Have is pleased to announce the availability of all the new Apple iPods on our website. Announced last night, Have2Have in keeping with tradition, worked until 1am to ensure that we would have the products online available for you to order first in South Africa, in fact as I write this we are the only SA store to offer the entire range. We even beat most of the large American online retailers, not bad hey? Well we'd like to believe that we're flying the flag proudly!

Yesterday Apple announced that they will add the iPod Touch, this the new top of the range iPod features storage in 8gb and 16gb versions, but most importantly this model sports a touch screen and the exact user interface as seen on the iPhone! This will no doubt be the most wanted gift this Christmas, sadly the supply of stock appears to be very limited throughout the season, we respectfully ask that you order one now if you are interested to avoid dissappointment.
FEATURES, 8GB & 16GB Storage, Touch Screen, WiFi connectivity for browsing the web, battery life of 22hrs (music), buy songs wirelessly using your iTunes account without a need for a computer! AVAILABLE END SEPTEMBER

Well seeing they sell the iPhone as well (AT&T locked) yes..!

Check out iPodworld.co.za for better prices!

I'm keen on an 80GB Classic. iPodworld sells it for R2800 or something. When do you guys think it will be available in SA through Apple and how much will it cost?

Haha, no. I have an iPod since 2003 - 3rd Gen 40GB. Last year I bought a Creative Zen Vision 30GB which does video,audiobooks,radio and mp3 at the same price as the 30GB iPod - but the sound quality of the Creative Earbuds and the DA converter on the Zen
beats the 3rd Gen iPod. I can't say about subsequent generations of iPods but for
over a year I exclusively use the CZV. I also tested the sound with $250* Shure earbuds
I picked up in Philadelphia earlier this year and the CZV still trumps the 3G iPod.

The other is the exclusivity factor is wearing off. Back in 2000, people would routinely stop me and ask me about my Creative Nomad (32MB ram and 32MB card) :). Now everyone and their dog has an iPod :).

* - I was mad to spend $250 on earbuds, I know. :)
