I've just signed up for the doBroadband Level 2 package.

Now they gave me all my login details over the phone, and I can connect, in fact I am right now. And I've managed to logiin to the password changing tool. But the usage tracker, webmail, and other logins don't work at all, says invalid login details etc..

Am I doing something wrong here??? :/
 
Use the online*****@telkomsa.net to log on to the usage tracker. Stupid Telkom can be very confusing with the multiple usernames and passwords.
 
I was just on the phone with them :-@ I really shouldn't need to phone them again :(

Thanks, well the username they gave me is online******@dsl.2gbsh.telkomsa.net, so I would use that to login right? That's what I've been doing..

I can also login to their top-up area it seems.. :)
 
For the email wat do u use?? I have a clients pc here, and the username in outlook is onlinexxxxxx, is that correct or should it have [email protected] ????
 
Just put the username in for webmail: onlinelalala

Probably get charged pro-rata, thats what cybersmart does if you signup in the middle or towards the end of the month.

But do you get a pro-rata cap? You could use up your 1, 2 or 3Gb easily in a day.
 
mh348, we're talking about Telscum, they always charge you whatever they want ;)
 
I was also wondering about that.. :/

I should maybe phone them and find out.. Or just use as much as I can today! :D
 
Reason I'm asking this is because I want to get a TI account for Dec, but I'm wary about ordering before the 1st December. Could order today, but to be safe, I will proabably wait till tomorrow.

EDIT: Unlike other ISP's, the application form at telkomsa.net has no field for specifying an activation date.

I had that problem when I first applied and got activated on the 28th. I put up a fight and they credited my account.

to log into the webmail (pop3 login) use onlineXXXXX only. Do not use the whole @dsl.......
Also, for your smtp, use smtp.dsl.telkomsa.net.
By the way, I see Ti has a Topup facility on the telkomsa.net website.
