Hi guys,
For those of us that live in Roodepoort - Horizon, most parts of Strubensvalley, Honey Hills, Constantia Kloof, and surrounding areas, we've finally got a tower that properly covers our hilly terrain. It's on top of the Horizon Towers (Snipe Street), and it was turned on this morning at about 10:00. It's base station number is 50.
I'm on a 128kbps package, and for the past 3 weeks I have generally been getting speeds of 12 to 15KB/s on first the old tower and now the new one. So they fixed my speeds, and as a bonus I now have strong enough signal that I don't get disconnected when the wind blows ... at last!
The only thing they need to now do is refund me for two months, and I will actually class myself as *gasp* a satisfied customer. It doesn't erase what happened, but if things are fine and I am compensated for the bad months then there is no problem.
Anyone else connecting to this tower?
