Im not on IS, so I cant use news.is.co.za.

I cant recall with 100% certainty but I'd guess they're news.saix.net and news.uunet.co.za - I do recall with 100% certainty that they suck.

Fine? In terms of what? Certainly not binaries (unless something has drastically changed).

EDIT - just checked and it didnt have a single binary that I was looking for. If you're on an uncapped UUNET account might I suggest a paid news server like easynews or giganews?
