Might happen in 5 -10 years but for now I have a massive boner in my pants for the D4.

Having said that. If I was going to fork out that amount of money for a camera I would honestly get the 1Dx.

Personally I'd rather have the 1Dmk4 but they're not going to be available for much longer.

For my money, I'm hoping Canon builds something to be to the D1X like the D700 was to the D3.

I know, it's on my wishlist but not really a high priority. After the cricket season I'll look at disposing of my 7D - by then the 1Dx might have hit the shelves so I should be able to pick up a second hand 1Dmk4 at a reduced price.
