Make that Glencairn, Every Friday Afternoon and back to the city early on Monday morning......

Aah, Glencairn... Yes! There was that little hotel near main road - memories of a gesuipte tannie wandering out from the hotel in her hatchback and straight in front of me... Nearly hit her, then decided to follow her back to Fishoek where she spent equal amount of time in both lanes en route home. Dunno how she made it tbh. I used to run main road from Simonstown to Fishoek and back - the smell as you pass the oil refinery was  but you couldn't help but breathe it in deeply to keep going lol

Do you know if the Chinese store close to Canal Walk sell these and whether the old cartridges will work? I really want to get one as soon as possible as we were all talking about this over the weekend.
Can you please explain to me the reason behind wanting a cheap knockoff as opposed to emulation?

The only reason being the ability to plug into your TV?

It's quick and you can let your nephew use it himself without giving him access to your PC?

Ive got the emulation running already. Its literally just to go back down memory lane and show my kids what we use to play on. And for R100 odd bucks you can't really complain.

Back in 1990 or 1992, I ran with the Chinese boys in CPT, we opened a TV game store in the Golden Acre, 1st of it's kind back then. I use to stand in front of the store with a wireless joypad playing Sega Megadrive...

Probably walked past you a few times.
