Hey guys,

I have a query and forgive me if I'm coming to false and unfounded conclusions. When I check the status of my internet connection in my windows XP network connections tab I get the following info:

Status: Connected
Duration: 5 days 03:10:00
Speed: 4.0 Mbps

I'm on the Telkom dobroadband 3 package. According to this info does it mean my line has not been reset? If this is true, does it also mean Telkom Internet is no longer resetting after 24hours?

Many thanks,

Bel

The stats you are seeing is that of the connection between your PC and the Router plugged into your wall, it basically means that your PC has been on for the last 5 days 03:10:00, unfortunately it doesn't tell you anything about your connection.

Yeah, they are still resetting your connection

Well...I can assure you my pc has been off several times during the last 5 days. I don't know why it'd reflect those stats though?

Disconnect right now... check SAIX or IS stats in 10 - 15 minutes.. and see the session length.. or to avoid disconnection right now... just check your IS/SAIX logs and see if there are entries the last 5 days.

If there is entries in the logs, you know its been reset.. nothing, means it probably stayed online, but im gonna guess there is a chance of live tracking now, so try check the times of the latest entry, if its in the last 2 - 4 hours, you know they doing live tracking, and your line very well may not be resetting.
