Reading post about simcard issues and 3G etc.
How about downloads with this mobile.

How about downloads with this mobile.

No problems there. I got download speeds between 13 and 22 KB/s and I have a terrible signal here. This was a couple of weeks ago though. The service seems to have slowed down recently. Kinda reminds me of when MTN introduced PPDB's some time ago. Went out, got the sim, loaded the bundle, had an exstremely good service. Then it deteriorated slowly in the coming months to a point where I just couldn't stand it anymore. I hope the same won't happen with Virgin.

The VM sim works fine with connection to the internet using a phone (n70 included) as a modem. There is an issue with using it in a 3g datacard. Connecting via the phone will give you EDGE speeds if you are in an edge area and the phone supports EDGE which the N70 does. VM does not have 3g/HSDPA yet.
