Have you ever thought why Nokia have never made a 4000 series?

The 1000 Series are entry models like the 1100 and 1110 etc.
The 2000 Series are slightly better models like the 2300 and 2600 etc.
The 3000 Series are at the start of mid-range models like the 3100 and 3200 etc.
The 5000 Series are sporty models like the 5140i and 5300 etc.
The 6000 Series are up-market models like the 6233 and 6280 etc.
The 7000 Series are mid-market models like the 7210 and 7250i etc.
The 8000 Series are also up-market models like the 8300 and 8800 etc.
The 9000 Series are PDA style devices like the 9300 and 9500 etc.

So where did the 4000 Series go?

Is there some conspiracy theory about the number four that is known only to Nokia insiders?

Now we have the E and N Series there are another 24 letters, it'll be interesting to see if "they" ever get used! :)
