i have newer version of mobilink v2.02.12.25 i can be on for hours on end but then it will drop the connection over and over again till i get too mad to deal with it and i turn it off. i play world of warcraft and it seems to happen the most when on the game but will happen while steaming media also. im thinking its because im pulling too much bandwidth cause i only have 3 outta 5 bars with an external antenna, does any1 have the same problem or something simular

I don't really understand what you're saying other than you have connection dropping problems, but you are using some sort of external antenna - is this an antenna mounted outdoors, and probably more importantly have you spoken to your ISP in the country that you're in to find out what the coverage in your area is supposed to be like, and have you tried a 3GOnly profile setting?

ok, i guess i should have been more specific bout my problems.
my 3g connection is an laptop aircard, PCMCIA express, i kinda live in a rural area in Ohio, USA, when i bought the service i was ensured that the signal strength in my area was above the minimum for getting the service.it works fine for website surfing and using messenger and ventrilo (ventrilo.com) but when i download anything the connection is never over 130kb/s. though that is pretty poor for high speed, its a huge upgrade from my previous connection of dailup with dload speeds of 3kb/s-13kb/s on a good day. ok anyway i have an external antenna that plugs into the external antenna port and is mounted near my window in my room.this antenna gives me no more bars on my signal meter but if i use my diagnostics program it gives me a little boost in DBm (decibels per milliwatt) and that does help the disconnects some times but all in all the this antenna was a waste of money i play world of warcraft religiously and some days it will works for hours on end and some days it will work for 5 minutes and disconnect and nothing ive tryd has fixed it. ive tryd shutting down all bandwidth users in the background, ive tryd keeping something runinng in background like steaming media to keep the connection open maybe and even connecting through windows. nothing has helpd the disconnects at all, when i call tech support they are basically idiots to be nice about it and dont even understand how or what their aircards do so thats my delima and i would just get a wired broadband line but even though i can see the line runnin over the telephone pole across the road they will not run it on my street and i doubt they will anytime soon
