Ok if you have a contract that is still active You Pay R1000.00 to R1500.00 and that they tell you after you ported Cell C to Virgin

The amount you are referring to is not fixed, meaning that if you paid R1000, this doesn't mean another person will pay the same.
The cancellation fee depends on what contract you are on and how far you are into your contract
This is an early cancellation charge for your contract, it is not a porting fee.
