Official LG P970 Optimus Black thread

I imported 2x 2450mah from china with a wall charger so you can charge one whilst using the other. Super awesome.

Edit: If anyone else needs the code it is printed small on the battery. BL-44JN 3.7V

My contract is coming up for renewal and I'm going to wait and see if I can't get the Galaxy S4 Mini if it arrives in the next two months. No more LG for me!

Hmm,I loaded ICS on mine,definitely a good change

It was another code on the reverse side of the battery

initially I wanted to get the L7 battery - BL44JH as its rated at 1700mAh
but the price was almost double, so just got the p970 one

how much did the chinese batteries cost?

LG tool,was quite pleasantly surprised,last time I updated using the tool phone was softbricked

Landed cost about R110 for 2x 2450mAh batteries and the wall charger. This includes the price of a seperate US to EU adapter.

My phone never showed ICS as available with my stock software on.

I unbricked my friend's P970 (same provider same contract) a few months ago and updated on the lg website, and it said that ICS was available. Go figure.
