Only 2 speakers work Vista 64Bit

Lmao - yeah werner what's wrong with you man? :D Nah its all good, the time it took me to reinstall I would have taken to find the solution..Everything seems to running perfect now, I am pleasantly surprised with the performance. Nice and fast, and I get my 2Gig of ram later today so that should help. Thanks for all the help!

A couple of things you should do now.

Right click on your right select properties and untick index this drive.
type services in the box above the start button and look for windows search and stop it and disable it.

Nothing worse than vista indexing your drive the whole time. :)

Cool done, thanks for ya help Killa ;)

Glad you happy & can see the performance gain of x64, Grim :)

Yeah very impressed, it is just as if not faster than Winxp 32...And if you guys say it doesnt slow down like a dead mule after 3 weeks then I am a happy man :)

Only thing that I am trying to 'fix' is black text sometimes is bluring and to sharp, it is killing my eyes...Can't seem to think what would fix that.

What kind of monitor do you have? 22"

Yea does not slow down like xp, not even close, xp flies when your first load everything and a month later its slow as hell, which is why i use to format like every 4 months or so.

Is ClearType enabled?
Is the text displaying like this on your browser or elsewhere in your OS?

+1
7 months later and my Vista is running as fast as it did the day I installed it. Haven't even done a single defrag or registry clean

Got a Samsung 22" yeah - busy checking if Clear Type is enabled, mostly at the top of the browser and emails..

Edit: Ah found clear type, enabled it and seems much better, ta

Also what i do and find is better is up the dpi from from default 96 to larger 120dpi, much better on the eyes. That with cleartype on looks great, strange thing though grim i thought cleartype was a default setting. Mine is just ticked like when i install it was already ticked.

right click desktop, properties and top left adjust dpi. That small font size use to strain my eyes big time.

There is a good chance it was on by default, I changed the performace settings where I think I must have disabled it.
