Hi Wizards, a friend using OO asked me to help with a problem and while being familiar with MS Office I am a newbie to OO.
The problem is the perenial one of a person using a sheet where a database is the better solution. So I fired up OO2.2 opened base and eventually I found that I could transfer the sheet data by simply pasting it. Neat!
Then I tried to create an update query and here's where I'm having a problem - I can't find any way of carrying out an UPDATE query! In fact it seems that UPDATE and APPEND aren't implemented.
Now a database without these options is like a bicycle without wheels - it dosn't take you very far! So I cannot believe that the product is crippled in this way.
Your advice and help. Please.
