Openweb 2GB intl +30GB local question

I've ordered an openweb account. The 2GB intl + 30GB local one because I do a lot of online gaming.

Now I came accross a program called Routesentry which enables you to have 2 accounts.

While I'm waiting for my openweb account they gave me a complimentary account with local only access for the mean while and I still have a few mb's left from my previous ISP. So I've setup Routesentry and it works great, I play BF2 online all the time and it doesn't use 1mb of my intl bandwidth.

Now the question is, will I be able to setup 2 accounts with Routesentry ( one for local usage and one for intl usage) with the one openweb account so that it uses of the local bandwidth when I play BF2 on a local server?

Please help
 
unfortunately with the openweb accounts, or any other IS accounts for that matter, all your traffic will count towards your 2GB international. When you've reached a total of 2GB your international will be capped and you'll only be able to access local.

An option would be to purchase a 1GB pre-paid Web Africa account and use that in RouteSentry when your international is capped. The great thing about Web Africa's pre-paid accounts is that the cap never expires and you only need to purchase another GB if you want to, not monthly.

Hopefully IS will someday split local and international traffic.

EDIT: Come to think about it, IS might actually benifit from splitting local and international usage, because then people won't rape and use up their international cap as quickly as possible to get to the local part. :cool:

Ah man, so in other words i've ordered the account for nothing.

This is bull$hit, telkom needs to cut on their prices or give uncapped DSL at affordable prices
 
Hey Shizzler,

You can use our accounts in conjunction with RouteSentry in the following setup:

- 1 x 2GB + 28GB-LOCAL and set RouteSentry to use this as the "international" connection.
- 1 x 10GB LOCAL-ONLY for R79pm and set RouteSentry to use this as the "local" connection.

Thats what I do from home to play 2142 :)
 
my pings to sgs on my IS connection last night where 500ms :(
