Outlook Express Spam Filters?

If you join with Gmail, they can set up Outlook Express and you'll automatically have spam filters. (You'll have to sign up with Gmail though, which sucks).

That's the only way I know of.....
 
If you've got zone alarm security suite, the spam filter works for OE and Outlook, it's pretty sweet ;) On the other hand check out www.spamjab.com , it's a bit slow at first, but otherwise it's good, then there's an old familiar one I used when I was stuck on OE, it's called Ihatespam, just google for it, it's a small antispam utility, not free though, and the best ofcourse was bluefrog, but we all know what happened there :p

But only for e-mails going through that gmail adress? I have an account...

But I'm looking for something for my other domains pop3's.

If anyone is wondering why I'm using OE, Outlook is not good for my needs, dont need calenders and all that, just want to see my inbox and the basics.

Hey, GreatBigMouth, Why do you say Gmail sucks, I know the spam filters might not be the best, but it filters most of the spam. I have a several gmail accounts, in my Personal I have never received a Spam Message, but on my dads he receives about 6 a day. On my company account (Hosted by google) I have also never received any spam.

So what sucks with Gmail, the Service or the Signup process?
 
mh, I don't think he's saying gmail sucks, as in gmail sucks, I think he's saying if you need a good spam filter you have to get a gmail account, for the sake of stopping spam, that sucks ;)

This plugin filters emails containig useless chains of characters.

Mystic-Signs-Filter 1.1.1
Filters mails that tries to confuse the bayesian filter by integration random special chars into the words contained in the subject-line and mails with chinese and so on 'mystic-signs' in the subject. Should be used as one of the first filters, because it is very quick and has a low rate on false-positives.

Empty Mail Filter v1.1.2
This filter blocks e-mails that are empty or contain very few words. If the number of words that are found in the e-mail is less than or equal to the number you specify, the e-mail is considered spam.

You can specify whether file attachments (and/or inline attachments) will be used in the decision making of what is spam and what is not spam. For example, if a mail doesn't have any words, but it has a file attachment, you can say that the mail is empty (or not).

Version 1.1.2 allows you to ignore HTML tags in mails so they don't count as words.
