outlook express to outlook

i am using outlook express for my email but would like to change to outlook so that I can sync my email with my mobile device. Is there any software that can backup all my messages from outlook express to outlook on my pc?

Your OE folders will be stored under

C:\Documents and Settings\(your username)\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{long number code thingy}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Just copy those files to another folder, and import them into Outlook.

in outlook express go to file -> export -> messages, and follow the instructions... very easy

If you install Outlook it will give you an option to automatically import the messages No need to do it manually
