I ordered my P30 lite upgrade today. I confirmed with multiple people at Telkom that their version is the 128 GB, 6 GB RAM version.

Pls let us know whether yours is in fact 6g ram..and ill let u know what mine is when I receive it next week

Huawei have it on their site as 4gb for SA. MTN state that their version is 4gb. Vodacom state that their version is 6gb. Telkom have told me their version is 6gb/8gb. Yes, I have them on record telling me that their P30 lite has 8gb RAM.

Thanx, I'll pass. All I need is a Huawei P smart (2019), nothing fancy - just a decent phone. Maybe the price would drop in the last quarter of this year. That is if the infrastructure of this country will still be up and running...

Look carefully at the left hand side of the speaker grille. It's not very visible. In fact, I think it's a terrible implementation and Huawei need to maybe enable always on notifications in order to address this (but not sure this is feasible with IPS compared to the AMOLED of the Pro?).

I don't know if the included gel back thingy covers the light or speaker. I went straight to buy a body glove flip cover, which doesn't seem to cover anything, apart from the power & volume buttons; which still work fine.
