Packet Loss. Some help from the boffins please!!

Ok i have noticed fairly high packet loss on international sites for the last few days. I was about to post here a little moan in wbs's direction but thought to do a tracert first.
If you have a minute take a look at these two VisualRoute graphs.

My understanding (it may be completely wrong) is that the problem lies where uunet/mci/verizon peer internationally as the packet loss seems to begin on the first router "outside" uunet.

Anyone else noticed same??
Anyone on uunet adsl also with problems??

Seems to only affect Namibia.
No idea. Could be peering links over seas as you stated.

I have noticed the same, tends to abate after 20:00.
