PC hanging on Mywireless

I am on the sentech wireless beta test in Durban (256kb) I have a Shuttle pc (SB61G2) with all the latest drivers and windows updates, P4 2.6 with HT, 512 dual DDR, radeon 9600 pro. While using mywireless my machine just freezes (during downloading or uploading) no blue screen it just hangs. I have already done a full format and it still continues to hang [!]. Anyone have this problem

HT seems to cause the long time connection hang but hanging like you are sounds strange.
I take it you are using Xp because 98 could cause this mainly due to its lack of memory management.
A few things you can try.
On my site get MySignal 3.3 and logon with that.
On my FTP site is a program called Maxmemi - install that and keep an eye on your memory usage.

the strange hangs you having i also had, but got rid of them when disabled hyper threading in bios

Ditto, had same symptoms (no blue-screen just freeze), disabled hyper-threading and now stable. Probably a bug in the USB driver, will have to be fixed, in the meantime disable HT to work around the problem.

I got exactly the same problem almost exactly the same machine as well cept mine is a 2.8 However problem started by installing a dialup usb modem. Also reformatted when I got my wireless and it still happened. Frustrating as hell!!! Ill try disabling HT but im not to keen on doing this as a solution maybe as a short term fix if it works.[V]

Hell I wish I could get this HT problem so I could see if anything can be done but my system just keeps going.
I have a P4 - 2.6 gig - 2x512 PC400 Dual DDR and HT turned on.
The mobo is a Intel La Cross or something like that.

Turning HT sorted it out first time, thanks for the help, hope there is a better solution tho.

I can't believe how some people don't know how to read previous posts. This hanging thing was put to rest a long time ago. Hopefully ProAsm will crack it soon. ProAsm, let me market it to Woosh once you're done.

Just one thing will everybody thats having this problem please tell me what motherboard there using, just the make will be fine Im using a Gigabyte. Thanks

Haven't tried disabling HT as the Sentech connection was moved to another machine
