Hi Everybody

This might be a bit O/T but help me out here...

I'm trying to support Vodacom in an effort to establish a base station in my neighbourhood which a small amount of people are opposing due to numerous reasons like...health issues, disruption of the skyline etc.

I know that the BS is budgetted for and i'm afriad that if the people oppose Vodacom we will not have another opportunity for proper 3G coverage in our area.

It's clear that the lack of knowledge on their side is causing them to make senseless decisions...

I need to know the following:
How many calls per base station? Lets assume 8 time slots active.
What is the average size of a BS footprint? (900 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2100 MHz (3G))
And any additional information that could help me to fight this battle.

Thanks
Grub
