Pro(Asm), among others has mentioned this elusive next phase roll-out. It is true that we need to wait for Sentech to sort out the current grid, issues, and whatnots.
The issue is, I, and I'm sure truck-loads of others (hopefully), whom have been scrounging this forum's halls and lounges since last year, have put on hold the getting of the Telkom product. The basic reasoning was that the uncapped thingymagwhatchie would be worth waiting for.
Lately, only beacuse Sentech is not forthcoming with ANY official information on the roll-out, but continues to create brand awareness through television ads (must be brand awareness, cause there ain't no product I can actually get
])they are frustrating the hell out of us (potentially) very loyal puppies.
All we ask/plead is a sign from the heavens, regarding the availability of towers (even those supposed to roll-out in phase I (which is supposed to have covered me)).
I do not want "Soon", or "Next", or even again "?quarter 2004".
The thing is, with rumors about Telkom recapping at 10G, and improving their roll-out/service, I'm really, REALLY seriously considering getting their product.AND after I've made an R1400+ investment in a ADSL modem, I will be a WHOLE lot less persuasive(able) about getting MyWireless later on. Oi. What to do?
