As you guyz know i designed my first site withthe help of a wysiwyg server rvsitebuilder.OK i also put in a forum, but i will like to take the massive sign on the left of the forum out, this sighn is huge saying phpbb, how willi be able to do that.I am the admin of the forum. Please can some one help me as i knoowwww nuttin of this .
I also downloaded studioline web 3( a whopping 100megabyte program)is this any good,and should i consider registering this.

dablakmark8, there are a couple of solutions to your problem:

Firstly, replace the following file (which is the image `sign` you're referring to) located, from the root directory, at:
/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif

Alternatively, edit the template file directly by removing the <td> tag and its contents.
Around line 231, in /templates/subSilver/overall_header.tpl

HTML:
<td><a href="{U_INDEX}"><img src="templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif" border="0" alt="{L_INDEX}" vspace="1" /></a></td>

I hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the welcome, dablakmark8.

Always willing to help. :D

i deleted the string and replace the gif with my logo.gif.....and this is what the forum displays now...................Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2005 phpBB Group
just that no forum nothing...what did i do wrong

Is the forum running on a web server that can be accessed via the internet?
If so, please provide a URL to the board?

well i did reinstall the forum on the server, and started over...pheww.
Now i need to not let anyone be a mod on it,,i dont know how to turn those things off,I mean check it out and you will see anyone can be a mod
I need to disable many things there

You needn't do both methods, only one or the other.

Choose the first if you'd like to replace the image with a personally branded logo, though be sure to retain the filename of the image you're replacing.

Choose the second if you'd like to remove the logo completely. Be sure to only remove the single line, quoted above, in the file 'overall_header.tpl'.

Apologies if I never made this clear in my first reply. :o

I did that and wow the logo comes up,quality is not a 32 bit gif anymore but hey its fine,at least i got it ,thanks again to chang from honggong.
