Plasma - where to buy

hello

WE bought the other day a 42inc plasma screen at one of those Bose shope, the make is "NEC" and it was about 20k. anyhow, apperantly "NEC" only makes a few of those screens so that it can keep it's resale value.

thats what the sales guy told me, please whatever u do don't buy sony!

NEC is a very good Japanese make, one of the best. NEC make high end photo editing and medical displays too as well as commercial signage.
NEC is an innovator in the league with the likes of Matshu****a, the way
Sony once were.... long ago.... :). NEC itself is a huge conglomerate.

do you also have there brands

because u no what ur talking about :p

OOOPS.. I checked he wrong models. The Samsung and Sony are 32" not 40" ...Sorry (very embarrassed:))

NEC is a big Corporation, but so is Matsu****a (Panasonic), and so is Sony...and Samsung and Hitachi and Mitsubshi and LG and Hyundai...so what?

ATM Pioneer and Panasonic produce the best plasma displays and Sony and Samsung produce the best LCDs. Sony Plasmas use LG panels, Most of the Sansui/wharfdale/pVision/<insert generic name here> use older gen LG/Fujitsu or Hitachi panels or Chinese manufactured panels.

If yo think Sony is behind, you should really check your facts and go and check the actual products. Sony And Samsung use LCD panels made in the same factory (a joint venture AFAIK) but the Sony video processing is by far the best.

Sony is the best clarity by for. So what do you guys think of a Sinotec 42" Plasma or LCD, they are the cheapest on the SA market, good quality picture, but not better than Sony?
