For me it will all be about the games. Xbox will deliver ,but not in South Africa. I have both the Xbox and Playstation2. I like both to tell the truth and if I could afford to get both the PS3 and Xbox360 I would. It would have been nice if we in South Africa could use all the feutures of the new systems ,but to be realistic in SA it is just not possible. Broadband gaming in the US and UK are going to be huge with the new generation of consoles. Pity we will not experience this here in SA.

If you're talking raw performance compared to current generation consoles then yes. As soon as XBox 360 is released it will kill the PC. My estimate is it will be a few years before PC's catch up but anyway there's no reason (other than financial) why you can't have a PC and a console
