Please help! MTN pre-paid loading number?

Can anyone tell me what the SMS or Cell Number is to load MTN pre-paid credits onto a phone?

My gardener just bought a R10.00 top-up voucher from the corner cafe. But there is nothing on the voucher that tells me how to load it... and I can't find the info anywhere on the MTN website (f... ing stupid if you ask me).

Please, somebody share this info with me... I only use vodacom contract, so I have no access to this info. And MTN sees to think it is a national secret!

Thanks, I finally got it the second time I called the MTN 173 customer Service.

You have to enter *141*[thePINnumber]# and press go!

You would think they could put this kind of info on their website.... but it's nowhere to be found.

Its very poor that MTN don't have web access to check your data bundle balance - those like myself using a modem need to remove the SIM card and use it in a handset each time we need to check the balance.

This is actually one of my pet peeves. I know I am going off topic here... but the lack of user ability or options on South African websites is incredibly frustrating.

I tried to go onto the Nedbank website to write an e-mail to the Home Loan Department about their 300% increase in admin fees. I gave up in frustration. Going to write a letter and fax it instead. So much for the 21st Century.
