I was up at 4:30am last night or rather this morning, and no its not because I could not sleep but rather because I have to do all my downloading at all crazy hours of the morning, but you already know this as you are all victims. After flipping around a bit and once more seeing that there is nothing on I changed onto some of the channels I never really watch and I found that Dutch channel. An English program was on all about how Russia have the largest solar power plant in the world and that Solar Power generation has the largest startup cost of all the other sources of power generation. So they were asking the head and team leader of the project why are the using all this money when they could just use coal or nuclear power stations? And he replied that it is an investment for the countries future and 10 years down the line the peoples lives shall be enriched far more than just the cheap solution they could have gone for which in the end is more trouble than good (pollution etc) So much unlike like the wise thinking people over there in Russia it just hurts so very much to see how Telkom never think any further than their bulging pockets. We are not clients or people we are numbers, numbers that they use so as to know who to post the bill too at the end of the month and nothing more. I hate the fact that because we have no other provider to turn too, instead of Telkom seeing this and saying "well we could take these morons for all that their worth and more, we wont because instead of gratifying ourselves for the here and now, we should rather focus on where we are going because no one ever succeeded by living each day as it comes" they say "we make billions in profit a year, we are the here and now and we will remain to be because us and the government have a lovely arrangement which makes us tons of money so ..." They constantly lie and are so uneducated at what they are trying to sell to us that its beyond funny. It is so obvious that they have stepped in ... so deep they cant turn around now, so with an ego that’s almost the size of their stupidity and one of the largest monopolies in Africa they are living it up. Which leads me to the following point, until now there has been a large, in fact huge groups of people who were never satisfied with Telkom, except they were singular entities which Telkom could quickly snub out and ignore by putting them on hold or lying to them, but those days are gone. Now with this united front we are doing something no one ever has, I remember in the past there were petitions and e-mail collections sent of to Telkom, but its as easy as pushing delete on Telkom's side to distance themselves from the problem. There are up there we are down here. But now we are in their faces and it needs to get louder and much much more serious. They will feel fear, as I know they are now, we must grow and we must remember a struggle is never won by giving up. So I implore each of you to keep going at the pace you have until now. Fight till the death because only us as a whole can win, without each other we are only left on hold.....
