Ok, this part is a point of view, and I'm now saying it's correct or not.
I understand there might be some overhead for administration.
But that's up to the person placing his services.
He creates a normal forum message. And he maintains it.
I geuss the problem might be administrator having to check everything in there is fine.
When it comes to legal issues, we can make the first message just make a warning. The person that places an add has his own legal problems. It's not up to this forum to make sure his legally alowed to do something. So if he posts an add that he's not allowed to due to some sentech policy. The fruits are his to bear... no matter how rotten
I'm not sure how this goes legally or whatever though. But I'm sure MyAdsl is not held liable for anything someone posts.
The worst Ive seen is if you are asked to remove the post, which I'm sure you would comply to.
Oh ... And I doubt Dean Henstock is Double D
If you know what I'm saying : )hehe
Anyways... its a random rambling, and sure it's incorrect.
But I would like to see information on services I can get.
And making people pay to advertise those services is understandable,
but then that limits me to being able to see all services. Maybe fastcom decides it's not worth placing an add, and I never get to hear about how 'great' they are
In the end, I think charging might limit the amount of services available being advertised. Biasing the posts to those who want to, and those who can afford to.
And that's my one molecule. Take it or leave it
