Power failure in Auckland

Watching SABC 3 news at 10pm and the lights went out in the studio. The host played it very smooth but after the news segment she actually apoligized for the "change in lighting due to a power failure in Auckland".

How ironic is that for the news to have a outage on live tv?

And the next story, power outage in Atlasville / East Rand.

There were generators that kept the camera and some lights going. They later chnged the background on her, not sure why to a wall or something.
