Proxy/firewall server at workplace

Hey all

I have a bit of a problem- a workplace thats unshaped and uncapped 1 mbps line but blocks everything (bitlord, limewire, sites with .mp3 in them) load of rubbish- they are using a Linux server and they are using "Web Filtering by IPCop and SquidGuard"

I have tried http tunnels, anonymous proxy sites, proxies and they work but extremely slowly(2kbps).

Please can someone tell me how i would bypass this thing so i could do whatever I want on the net.

I have on numerous occasions, he says ask the IT department and they say no, please could someone help me with this. Uncapped and unshaped they are not being very nice at all.

Yeah - good luck with that. They obviously dont want people misusing their internet connection for a reason - in fact circumventing it could cost you your job.
