Are you sure. That should not be the case. You should have received info about the smart device deal together with your agreement details, if you have not, you should contact FNB, and find out what is going on.

Thanks... What I find strange tho is that I had to call in today and they told me that my application was approved although I have not received any SMS confirming that. Oh well...

They also said that the courier company will call me and ask for delivery address etc... In this case, I guess that the whole 15 days they're talking about is actually just for fun...

hhhmmm.... Praying that it gets here by Friday tho, so the weekend will be interesting!

Not quite the same deal. The PnP deal has only one console that comes with the 500gb console. The FNB one has two controllers (so that's 6000 + one extra controller worth about 900 rand) + two games (I remember that there was a premium title, dunno which (~700) and lego game (~300). There was also a PS Plus subscription for 3 months (~200 bucks). That's 8.1k. So the actual difference is 1000k (interest) that you are paying over 24 months. (Which amounts to about a bit more than 40 rand extra per month for 24 months).

So its basically geared towards people who can't pay the 6000 upfront and are happy to lose 1k in the process. By the way, that interest rate is lower that what you'd typical pay on a credit card. So, yeah. Sigh, and all this from a Standard bank costumer. Oh well, don't think the offer is available anymore so guess it doesn't really matter.
