Who cares, people have different tastes. You don't design a console to have backwards compatibility with specific games anyway.

You cared a few posts down! "Backwards compatibility" could also mean been able to play old popular games on new gen no matter how it is achieved. No one will design new consoles to be compatible with old gen games. Sony learned and expensive lesson and most who bought the original PS3 with the capability hardly ever played old games with it. Therefore the Sony way is a better solution.
