Push email for small business

I'm looking for help on setting up push email (e.g blackberry or similar) to smartphones for a small business that is not running Exchange or Notes. South Africa but with worldwide roaming. Any ideas?

We use our Blackberrys without Exchange (or similar) and just make do with forwarding and the included email address. Simple and effective solution.
