I've visited most of the tower locations in Pta and the result is :
Menlo Park - Also a TV tower. Cell towers nearby.
Sunnyside - Belongs to Telkom
Kilner - Building, also a cell tower.
La Montagne - Building, also a cell tower.

In Progress :
Elardus Park - Also a cell tower.
Garsfontein - Also a Vodacom tower.
Littleton - Also an MTN tower.

Obviously it's easier to reuse an existing structure. And there is no point for Telkom/Vodacom or MTN to refuse such a request, because Sentech can just buy some land and erect their own tower. The owner of the structure will just ask Sentech a pretty penny in rent. (Sort of thing Sentech does to us.)

Here is my "Yet Another ProAsm Question" : Isn't it faster to just do build your own towers ?

Interesting one this. Wonder if any of the occupants of this building has MyWireless ? Yes, I know it's an old age home, but still...a few options available here. Pop a cantenna right in front of any of the 3 nodes.. excellent LoS, 100% signal, S-N-L should be sitting pretty as well. Wonder what their minimum age requirement is [:D]

The quickest is a water tower, container stays on the ground, no cranes involved, water towers invariably belong to municipalities which has standard rental structures, no argueing about rights etc and things go very quick, except in CT of course [:)]
