Rise Africans, rise!

In Zimbabwe silent diplomacy on S.A side did not work..countless elections and "power sharing deals" have done nothing but prolong and worsen the devastation and corruption that exists.
As in many parts of Africa......especially Egypt revolt is the only option left.

So, do you think one dictator is going to be replaced by someone with the interest of the people in mind?

Why do you need a revolution when all you have to do is vote correctly? The tools are there for you to effect change and if people are to stupid to do it via a vote I cannot for the life of me see how idiots revolting will have any better outcome?

Politics doesn't solve anything, especially here in Africa. Look at how many people are living below poverty...it's insane. The government is suppose to serve the majority, which are the poor, but only serves the small percent, the rich. Pathetic. We have people dying of curable diseases and infection while the government fat cats increase their paychecks each and every term.

Down with all government. Voting for DA or ANC makes NO DIFFERENCE. When was the last time South Africa or any country in Africa for that matter benefited from a particular party ruling? If DA gets in, the majority of people will still complain, ANC is in, majority of people still complain.

This system is simply failing, too much corruption, look at Telkom for an example, holding back our very...very important telecommunication sector just so the Government can get rich.

I'm not disagreeing with you.

What system do you propose we put in the place of governments, what ever we use to replace it will just be some another form of it.

The only rising africa needs to do is rise off her fat lazy @rse, put the begging bowl away and try do something for herself for a change instead of finding excuses in the past for her very real current problems

I believe Anarchy would be our only way...any other form of direct authority figure would fail because we have too many rebels. No one has tried it yet so the results can't be predicted but it would be a start. Everything would be done via majority ruling...ya, it is more complex than this but at this point, anything is better than what we have going.

That ain't gonna work, if the majority want to take your crops, house etc then they can. It's a majority vote that got us into the schit we are in today, imagine you now allow them to do as they please...

You are probably right, I don't trust most humans, but what exactly can we do then? If it's not majority ruling, then it would be minority ruling which would lead us right back to the Government stage.

Are we just f'd until our death?

I am thinking of starting a revolution myself. I am going to go bomb these toll roads crap :P (its going to cost me about R1200 a month just on tolls...i am actually thinking of moving)

Give Africa to the Chinese and let them run it like they run China. You don't get to vote, they don't take your crap. If you want to get ahead you work, no hand outs. China actually has some advantages over democratic countries. They have the ability to implement long term plans/visions better than a country where the president/party changes every 4-8 yrs and then does a 180 degree turn on the previous administration's policies.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree 100% unfortunately, the Chinese hold little regard for their own kind, how much less for us. Africa has a unique way about it (tongue in cheek). I think Africa as a whole would fight till the last man before they let the Red Army take over. Just look at Malema, as much as I detest him, he has a point when he holds that Africa is for the Africans and nobody will take that away. His rhetoric is one that is echoed in every African; this is our land and it belongs to us, we will take it back and nobody will steal from us again.

He may have a point, but I still think he's dangerous.

I for one would not allow yet another government to take over. You have to remember the majority of the Chinese population is also dead poor and living in poverty, **** wouldn't change.

NO thanks. The Chinese do not know the solution either. They also serve the minority.

You know I hate getting sentimental but this country is healing right now, I see it every day. We do need to stand together *alltime cliche* call me a dreamer but we are all in the same boat.

It's the corrupt fatcats a few steps up that don't hold that same vision and every country has them you know but it's not all doom and gloom, although the doomongers would disagree.

Am I making any sense here?

I couldn't agree with you more man! We do need to stand together here...this is best way to fight this corruption.

Fair enough but lets compare china today to china 20yrs ago, things are changing rapidly. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for africa, everybody is also piss poor and starving. For china I see a future, africa I see misery.

Ponder I would not swop anything, not even my own life for another oppressive government rule, especially Chinese. Don't you understand the very heart of Africa? Do you not consider yourself African? There is a much bigger picture here even if you cannot see it.
